Miriam Perez, Founder Hello! I am Miriam, the founder of Coqui Trave Plus. I have been in the travel industry for over 40 years not to mention born and raised in my beautiful island of "Puerto Rico". I arrived in NYC when I was 17 yrs. old to study in the States. I obtained a business degree but wanted more than that. I started my career as a TSA agent for Pan America until they ceased operation in 1991. My family and I decided to move to DE. While I no longer worked at the airport or for an airline, I found myself always helping people with their travel needs. Upon moving to de I found many people skeptical and afraid to travel, so this is where my new journey begins... In 2001, I decided to put my expertise to work and opened the doors for Coqui Travel Plus in Seaford, DE, along with the assistance of my husband and daughter.
